We define our success as academic progress and achievement, and providing the foundation to create lifelong learners. Rose Shaw SES's mission is to create a place where every student can learn with the help of the staff, parents, and the community. We are recognized as a school that emphasizes high academic standards, as well as high expectations of all students to achieve their fullest educational potential. Definimos nuestro exito como logro y progreso académico, y proveyendo el fundamento para crear estudiantes de toda la vida. La misión de Rose Shaw SES es crear un lugar donde cada estudiante puede aprender con la ayuda del personal, los padres, y la comunidad. Rose Shaw SES "Exemplary" Campus as designated by the Texas Education Agency Inspiring Success in Every Child!

Rose Shaw SES was designated a 2008 No Child Left Behind - Blue Ribbon School. The No Child Left Behind-Blue Ribbon Schools Program honors public and private elementary, middle and high schools that are either academically superior or that demonstrate dramatic gains in student achievement to high levels. In addition to being honored at a ceremony in Washington, DC, where each school receives a plaque and flag signifying their status, these schools serve as models for other schools throughout the nation.
